I got this recipe from the Tucson CSA, so the rights are all theirs... This is a simple modification of the original recipe.
Ingredients
1 bunch of chard
4 garlic cloves
½ cup of almonds
2 tablespoon lemon/lime juice
½ cup olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin
Fresh black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Simply blend everything in a food processor. I recommend starting with the oil and garlic to make sure you fully processed the garlic before you proceed with the other ingredients.
Notes
One can easily change this recipe by using other nuts / greens to provide a huge variety of pestos!
